Soy Sauce Mixture
- Chop green onion and cilantro. It should be a ratio of 5:1 green onion to cilantro
- Add 1/2 teaspoon of sugar (if you have sweet soy sauce you can omit this)
- Add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl

Fish Prep
- Buy a whole fish from the market which has been scaled
- Rub salt over the fish and then rinse off with water to help get rid of the smell
- Dry fish with paper towel
- Get a plate and put slice ginger on the bottom of the plate
- Put the fish on the plate
- Continue putting ginger on top of the fish

Cooking
- Put the fish on a plate in a steamer
- Bring the water up to a boil and drop to a low medium steam and cover the pot with a lid
- Depending on the size of the fish steam for 12 mins for 1.5 lbs and 15 mins for 2 lbs
- When the fish is done cooking put the soy sauce mixture while it is hot
- (Optional) Pour super hot oil over the fish
