  • Moong Dal
  • Red Lentils
  • Onion
  • Olive Oil/Ghee
  • Black mustard seeds
  • Yellow mustard seeds
  • Tumeric
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Tomatoes

Directions

  • Put instant pot on saute
  • Stir fry spices until slightly dark
  • Stir fry onion
  • Add a ratio of 4 parts water : 1 parts lentils
  • Add whole chopped tomatoes or tomato paste (if chopped tomatoes, slightly reduce water)
  • Presesure cook on high for 4 minutes
  • Quick release
